Marvin Hays November 14, 1931- April 23, 2007 PHENIX CITY, AL
Marvin Hays, 75, of Phenix City died Monday, April 23, 2007, at St.
Francis Hospital in Columbus. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M.,
Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Auburn Heights Baptist Church with Dr.
Wayne Scarbrough and Rev. J. C. Turner officiating. Interment will
follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The members of the Men's Senior
Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be this
evening from 5 till 7 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix
City, AL. Mr. Hays was born November 14, 1931, in Pike County, AL son
of the late Mary Matilda Hoomes Hays and Jessy Grady Hays. He retired
from Pasco Steel after 23 years and is a member of Auburn Heights
Baptist Church and the Men's Senior Class. Survivors include his wife
Brunese McLendon Hays of Phenix City, sons and daughters-in-law Sam
& Melanie Hays of Burlington, NC, Jerry and Pat Hays of Buena
Vista, GA; brother Lamar Hays of Dothan, AL; sisters Ruth Senn of
Atlanta, GA, Ruby Turner of Banks, AL and Winnell Peacock of Ozark, AL;
grandchildren Brian Hays, Scott Hays, Nicole & Kane Morrison,
Heather & Nestor Martinez and one great grandson Landon Hays
