About the Ministry
God’s Helping Hands is a ministry for the community as well as our own church family. We have been called to go outside of the church to help families do things around the house that they may be unable to do at that time. As we pray, we will be joining together with the Lord to minister to others by serving in what ever capacity is needed and showing them the love Christ has for them. As the Lord has shown us through His word, we will minister to each other and the community. This is going to be an awesome ministry for the community. We would also like to do this for our families inside the church. This ministry will benefit our Senior Citizens and Shut-ins especially. What we are going to do is cooking, cleaning, yard work, painting, and any other type of home repair work that may need to be done. In order for us to accomplish this, we need workers. We have a form that you can fill out to let us know what type of work you may be able to do, what your special skills are, or what type of resources you may be able to get us to use on these missions. Also, if you know of anyone in our church or in our community that could use this ministry, let us know.
What would it take to be a part of this ministry?Just having a heart for God. God will lead you to use the gifts he gave you to reach out and help others. We want to be an extension of God’s Hands reaching out to others and showing His love to them. There are many gifts that can be used in this ministry. Cooking, cleaning, painting, food delivery or just spending some time talking to them. Every little detail is just as important to God as the big details. You will be a blessing to anyone that you come in contact with no matter what your task is. If God has called you to be a part of this, just fill out the “Ministry Opportunity” form and place it in the offering plate or drop it in the box.

Do you know of anyone who could benefit from this ministry? Do you know someone who may not have the time or means to do things on their own. Do they just need someone to bring them a meal or help clean their house? Do they just need some company, someone to come and talk to them just to see how their day was?
